Statesboro Campus Concert Response_Anna Forbes

 

I went to the Brass Studios Solo Recital. I was in band in high school, and I've attended several brass/band concerts in the past. It was nice to hear solo performers; I felt like this helped me to fully take in the sound of specific instruments on their own. I especially enjoyed hearing the tuba on its own. I have heard tuba before, but I don't think I've heard it performed solo. This was a unique experience. I think I may experiment with using some tuba and trumpet sounds in my sound art project.
