Week_8_Response_Matt_Talley

This week I watched the trailer for Kidding. I was very intrigued by both the visuals and the story being told. Jim Carrey's character reminded me a lot of Mr. Rogers. I found the duality of his on- and off-screen persona captivating. Visually, I thought the transitions we quite well done. The part that stuck out the most to me was where it rapidly changed shots as people were throwing or hitting things. I also liked that part where he was on stage using a screen to show his legs as he acted along behind. The use of paper folding and cutouts was also a nice touch as it made for a good visual effect and emphasized the connection to children and their entertainment. Overall, I really liked this trailer and I'm interested in checking out this show.
