Video Installation -- Illusion

I found this video installation to be interesting because it transforms the space that the viewer is in and takes them on a journey elsewhere. The video seems to be projected on a corner of the room where it causes the environment to transform before the viewer’s eyes—giving the illusion that they have entered an alternate space or reality. The longer you watch, the area no longer feels like a projection on the corner of a wall—but real life. Particularly, when the projection portrays a flash light shining on a brick wall or transforms the corner into a longer hallway with people and moving doors, the installation is at its most convincing; but the other illusions that take place are just as entertaining to watch.
