I chose to respond to WAVES because I feel like it represents a more literal depiction of what sound looks like. When we hear sound, we can imagine a variety of things--colors, shapes, instruments, etc; but this video seems to provide an accurate representation of what sound actually could look like from the vibrations that it sends through the materials that interact with it. As the sound waves travel, the water and salt move in a variety of patterns and formations--creating a harmonious visual with the sound that we are hearing as we watch. Though both are interesting to watch, I prefer the movement of the water as apposed to the salt because it flows more smoothly and can be entrancing to watch.
