 For this week's video, I watched Lines by Anders Lin. I thought this video showed a really cool concept. The set up is quite simple, each piece of the installation is simple colored lines. These lines make different kinds of sounds depending on how you interact with them. I find it fascinating that the sounds produced can be as simple or complex as the participant wants. If you have musical knowledge, you could play a melody with many different parts. Or, as it shows at the end, you can play something simple, silly, or downright noisy like the children do. This installation seems really fun to experiment with and could produce some interesting results.
