Week 8_Video Response_Tamara Tanksley

 Overall, all of the videos for this video response had a common theme of narration. The one video that stuck out to me the most was the trailer for KIDDING. They were able to show the different emotions that the main character, Jim Carrey, goes through. On the outside, he is nice, calm, composed, and like to see people smile. In the inside, he is a wreck. In one section of the trailer, when he was going on a talk show, you would hear the host say all of these good things about him but in the waiting room he messed up the mirror and other things. I think the director and the videographer did a good job of showing the contrast of the character in the trailer. Another thing I noticed was that in between they would have construction paper which could symbolize the fact that he likes kids and I think that it could have another meaning behind it if I watch the show. Other than that, I think having the construction paper added a nice touch of mixed media to the trailer.
