Week 12_STATESBORO CAMPUS CONCERT SEASON_ Jonathan_Diaz

I did mine early, I attended my concert event today, it was the Georgia Southern University Brant Harlacher, cello Graduation Recital (Ken Chan, piano). Brant Harlacher played the hell out of that cello. My favorite number was the Cello Sonata No. 1 in E minor, Op. 38 (allegro non troppo) by Johannes Brahms (1833-97). This is part of the event when Ken Chang first came out with the piano to help with Brants cello as they played this classic melody. It was fun hearing the music play not from a device or social media post but to be live and center stage hearing the music play from that instrument felt relaxing and I was left awed by the dedication and talent and discipline the music majors here at southern have. My respects to them all.
