Week 10_Annecia Thompson

This week, I wanted to speak on Yasuaki Shimizu's Robot Garden.  Listening to the piece feels pretty relaxing for me, and pretty true to the name. Though it maybe relaxing, there is technological sounds that play a big role in this sound art. So, it isn't relaxing say like resting under a tree or sitting in a garden. There is technology in there that helps remix the idea that comes with serenity being associated with nature and anti-tech. Though it's also interesting as it gives a strange sense of nostalgia for me as well as the songs that would play would remind me of old gameboys and such.
