I first made these videos originally for our project 2 but decided to wait. I took these videos after a rainstorm of different plants, trees, mushrooms, water, and stone. I wanted to capture how bright everything seems after it rains. You can defiantly see in the video how bright all the colors were and I didn't alter the color at all. After looking at all these different clips, I immediately thought of a stained glass window. I was reading a book at the time that was full of cathedrals and descriptions of light pouring in through stained glass. From that idea, I decided to make a grid in Illustrator and place it over my video to give the look of window panes. However, I really liked the "bubble" shape squares I had created and to me the video started to look more like old television screens. Once I started placing the video around I then needed to find sound that would match it. This to me was the hardest part because I could not create anything myself that I was envisioning for this piece. I ended up using some audio clips I made of running water and me hitting metal. I later on found a song called 20 Years Of Snow by Regina Spektor that I though matched perfectly. I would have really loved to add audio in the beginning of the video to help make the transitions better, but I couldn't find/create anything.

What took the longest was having to crop everything single video I made multiple times to fit inside of each grid. My favorite is just the video by itself. I really do not like the audio I made in the beginning. I wish the audio from the Regina Spektor song was longer to cover the whole video.
