Landon Sawyer week 11 response

 

Kenneth Cage's video Ryoji Ikeda test pattern “time square” is what I chose to respond to. While the over arching sound is a bit too much for me sense I listen to it with head phones. The begin was to be frank calming compared to the rest following it. Reminding me of old tv sounds from VHS. The style of it thought makes me wonder if its more focused on the attention getting side with the flashing lights. Its placement also seems to prove this with it being in time square.
