Week_4_Response_Matt_Talley

This week I watched Feeding Back by More McWreath. I thought he posed an interesting question on the status of video art in today's world. He read quotes from various articles detailing the history of film as a medium and discussing its uses, value, and status over the years. This is done against a backdrop showcasing many different film and editing techniques, with his image used in the examples. He believes that film and video as art is perfectly possible in today's world, demonstrating as much through the things he shows in this video. I agree with him. If anything, I think it's possible to create even more kinds of art today through the use of computers and video editing programs. I thought the ending was done in an interesting way as well. Everything, from the credit for sources used to the names of those who made the video, was shown in individual clips. I like that he continued with his overall theme and showed even more edits and proof that video is art.
