Week 8 Video response _ Jonathan Diaz

The video I watched was Omer Fast - The Casting, my interpretation of this film is very deep but only because in the 13 minute video the interviewer, towards the end of the interview, was talking about people having short attention spans and the focus of memories and how we can retell them. I think the intention of the film was to portray the way we see our memories, we don't have a 100% HD quality interpretation of what happened in our heads but a sliver of both information and image that our brains recreate when we tell a story. Thats why there are two screens where the audience can choose what information they are looking at, sorta like how our brains jump from image to image in our heads. We are our own director in a way deciding who and what and when to look at what's on screen.
