Week 6_ Annecia Thompson

 

    This week, I've watched Adel Abdessemed's God is Design. I have to admit, the video was a strange experience to watch all the way through. Right from the beginning, I found myself unable to focus on the video due to the disorientating sounds and fast moving visuals.  I had to force myself to focus, or I would find myself zoning out into the video. 

    That, however, made the video feel more intense in a way when I let go of trying to watch it properly and let the scene go into my senses without any type of filter nor judgement in it. It felt more so like I was having an experience of some sort versus just watching and trying to understand what was happening on the screen. Maybe I was not watching it correctly, but I felt like this way I was able to understand the project more in regards of emotion instead of the more direct sense of trying to understand a message.
