Week 5_Response_Erin Dixon

 I chose Doug Atiken's "Migration". In this installation, it shows the video on multiple screens which I find very interesting. In a montage sequence, the video shows animals in place of humans. These animals are seen in places that are very uncommon and not natural for these animals. It it known knowledge that humans have made animals migrate, taking over their habitats through expansion. I believe the video is trying to express how it would appear if the role was reversed. This is a very important message, and I believe that the video captures the reality of what is happening in real life.
