Progress Update: 10/6/21 

Since my last update, I have overlapped some sections of video, and added a few more transitions between certain scenes. I adjusted the audio a little more as well. 

Progress Update: 10/5/21 

Since my last progress update, I decided that I didn't like the theme of my video and made some changes. I filmed some new things with a different idea in mind and spent a great deal of time editing my new material. I added music and tweaked the volume of different overlapping sounds, I edited the color contrast in some of the shots to get rid of some of the darkness, and I added some fading transitions and zoom effects. I also added some audio transitions to allow the music track to fade in and out. In the beginning of the video, there is a title that fades in and out--as well as two at the end. The new theme of this experimental video is things that make me happy--which I believe primarily to be the little things in life. To me, happiness isn't material; it is the experiences and relationships we share, and I have found the majority of that in my life-long best friend. In my video, there are shots of both nature and my best friend doing the most simple of things--such as talking and laughing with me; nature is involved because friendship is such a naturally occurring thing--it cannot be forced. The video is comprised completely of organic material in which I would sit my phone somewhere and forget about it as my friend and I simply interacted with one another; none of the laughter is fake, but rather raw and naturally occurring--just as the shots of scenery in the video are. The initial title begins with "Happiness..." and finishes as a sentence that reads "is found in the little things" by the end of the video. 

Progress Update: 9/28/21

I have changed my entire video idea, and I filmed some new material. So far, I have several cuts and pieces of video; and I am working on adding more audio and have been playing with the different visual and audio effects. I have a title card inserted that I plan to edit too. 

First Progress: 

I don't have any sound or effects added to my project yet. I have mostly been cutting and editing parts out so far, but I have been looking through thee effects to see which ones I might use when I am ready for them. I am filming more content to be added to what I already have as well. Once I have all of my recorded content, I will start adding sounds and effects.
