Project 1_Progress_Erin Dixon

I have been fiddling with some effects to make my video darker and give it an eerie attribute. I played with the contrast and adding grain to the video in different parts. I also made the flashlight look like it was flickering. In this screenshot, I increased the contrast and added noise.

I added some royalty free, eerie atmospheric music throughout my video. I played with the volume levels, and tweaked with it at certain points. In this screenshot, I transitioned from a quieter volume to a louder volume along with the transition of the video. Also in this same screenshot, I used a dip to black transition to stitch my clips together.

I had to figure out how to end the video without it seeming too abrupt or out of place, so I made a slower transition into black while also fading the audio out with it. In the screenshot, you can see I have the music playing longer than the video. I did this while also having the music fading out so that way the eerie feeling lingers even after everything goes dark.

Sept. 2 Progress

I didn't do much more editing other than tweaking the audio to make it flow better, and fix some of the transitions. I rendered my video then exported it.
