Week 11_Video Response_Tamara Tanksley

 

In the video called, "LINES - an Interactive Sound Art Exhibition", it shows that playing around with sound can be so versatile. It is fascinating how each section has a different way of making the lines do something. With the first set of lines, they were able to use their hands to change the pitch of the sounds. In the second set of lines, as they move side to side, the tempo gets faster. In the last set of lines, as they go up and down they dynamics of the sound changes. Overall, there were so many ways to play with sound in this video. It reminds me of how we did that activity in class we did with all of our different sounds to make a song. I think in an exhibition like this someone can be there all day experimenting with the different sounds and how to change them up.
